Dahlia 'Linda's Baby' – the perfect peach-colored ball dahlia
Dahlia 'Linda's Baby' is one of those flowers that will never leave my favorites list. Its perfectly round flowers, about 10 cm in diameter, have a soft color palette of peachy pink with a hint of salmon. As the flower nears its end, a light lilac glow appears on the petals.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Linda's Baby' blooms all summer long until the first frost and is known for its prolific blooms. The plants grow to about 100 cm tall and produce new buds continuously as soon as you cut the flowers. Their sturdy, long stems also make them look beautiful in a vase.
Location and care
Plant the tubers as soon as the risk of frost has passed, preferably in a sunny corner of the garden. Provide airy, fertile soil that drains easily. Water extra during dry spells and remove old flowers to prolong flowering. In winter, it's best to dig up the tubers and store them frost-free, or cover the soil with a thick winter barrier of straw or leaves .
