Why you want Dahlie Labyrinth in your garden

Dahlia 'Labyrinth' – large, playful peach-pink flowers
Dahlia 'Labyrinth' lives up to its name: a maze of gracefully twisted petals in warm shades of peach and raspberry pink. The large, 20cm flowers are held aloft on long, dark stems and stand out beautifully above the contrasting green foliage. The twisted petals give the flower an airy and playful appearance.

Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Labyrinth' is a Dinnerplate dahlia that blooms from summer until the first frost. It grows to about 120 cm tall and produces an abundance of large, well-filled flowers. The flowers are held firmly on their stems, but because of their size, it's wise to give the plant some extra support. The more often you prune, the more flowers will return.

Location and care
Give this dahlia a spot where it gets plenty of sun and plant the tubers only after the ground has warmed up after the frost. They prefer loose, fertile soil that allows rainwater to drain easily. Watering regularly and removing spent flowers will prolong flowering. You can protect the tubers over winter by digging them up and storing them in a dry place. In mild winters, you can leave them in the ground and cover the soil well with straw, for example.

Why choose Dahlia 'Labyrinth'?
Its soft peach and raspberry shades combine beautifully with other dahlia varieties. The gently curled petals add a playful touch to your garden and bouquet.

Combination tip
I really like the combination of the dark raspberry colour and the pompom-shaped flowers of Dahlia Jowey Frambo .
